Finally some color in this blog! I have been wearing way too much black and white lately. Actually it is totally one of my friends fault! She always wears black, and because she always looks so good I thought, if I'd copy her it would have the same effect on me. Unfortunately it's not that flattering on me since my skin tone is so light. Anyhow, black is always elegant and gorgeous, but sometimes a girl needs some color in her life! 

This leather jacket is pure perfection if you ask me. It's soft and it's the perfect shade of red. I love red! It's classic, easy to match and it also happens to be my husbands favorite color <3. 

 I wish I had more colorful leather jackets (yes I am dangerously addicted to leather jackets)! Few years ago Andiata had an orange one. I can't tell you how much I beat myself up for not getting it!!! It makes me angry every time I think about it! I have even tried to ask around if there would be one left hidden somewhere just waiting for me, but no luck there either :(.

no complaints but still wishful

Even tho I really enjoy sunshine most of the time, I can really appreciate gray and rainy days like today every now and then. I think it's cosy to inhale fresh air during my morning walk, and then spend time inside at home, just doing things around the house. These are the days I get those boring things done I normally procrastinate. 

Now Greta is already asleep for the night, so it's time for me to make myself a huge sandwich, enjoy some well deserved chocolate (I deserve it every day, haha), read a magazine and wish for some more beautiful sunny days to come ;).

Last weekend was spent in our summer house on the country side. I have really come to appreciate the country, and now a days I actually love it! The weather was too perfect for words all weekend, and we enjoyed the calmness of nature, great company, family time and good food. But most of all I loved seeing my daughter getting wild and free in the green grass, hearing the sound of an orchestra of birds and playing with her grandparents.

 I walked long walks every day with Greta and I really soaked in everything I saw, smelled and felt. Everything is so beautiful now when it's all in bloom, especially the cherry and apple trees. 

Anyhow, while I walked I listened to the band One Direction, and I want you to check it out! My favorite songs right now are Don't forget where you belong and Story of my life ;). 

My home

A while back, lovely, sweet and talented Alexa came over to make a feature of my home for cosmopolitan magazine. The magazine is in stores now and Alexa also posted pictures in her beautifully implemented blog here! 

Even tho our home is far from done (rooms still empty and a lot of furniture still missing), I thought it was really fun to invite Alexa to my home, and I am so glad I did because it was so much fun to meet her! She's such a sweetheart<3.

What amazingly beautiful weather it's been the last couple of days! Me and Greta have spent the entire day outside again, and it's so easy now without all the layers of clothes that have to be removed and put back on all the time. I also enjoy breast feeding her outdoors under a tree somewhere in the shade, and the easiness of changing her diaper in the strollers:)! She loves being outside too, so she has actually cut down to only two naps a day and instead I put her to bed an hour earlier at night. Greta sleeps 12 hours every night, but I still feed her several times each night, as I have from the beginning ;). Other than that she is a super easy going, happy and social child. I really enjoy spending every day in her company. 

Now back to what this blog is all about, fashion! Today I felt like being sporty in my new and oh so comfy vans! I love these classic checked slip ons and my feet are very pleased and grateful as well;D. I also tried to wear this cap that I'm still super unsure about (never thought I'd buy myself a cap!?!), and I only managed to keep it on for a couple of hours… To make this look feel more feminine and like myself, I threw on some pearls and it resulted in a funny mix between two different styles. If this outfit became a success or complete fail,  I'll let you be the judge of that ;)?
